Description

Family Service Regina is seeking a full-time, permanent Early Intervention Caseworker to join our Domestic Violence Unit.

This role provides support to individuals at risk of using or experiencing violence, with a strong focus on engaging men at risk of perpetrating abuse and promoting their well-being. Candidates must demonstrate knowledge of gender-based violence, victimization, and its impact on children. Experience working with Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACEs) and intergenerational abuse is essential.

Responsibilities include:

Direct casework with individuals and families

Risk assessment, safety planning, and case management

Community outreach and referral pathway development

Group facilitation using models such as Safety and Repair, Safe and Together, and ACEs

The successful candidate will be a skilled communicator, adaptable, and comfortable in high-pressure situations. Experience with crisis intervention, advocacy, and collaboration with external agencies is required. A strong understanding of gender-based and family violence is necessary. Public speaking experience and knowledge of the criminal justice or family court systems are assets.

We seek someone who can contribute to a safe, inclusive, non-judgmental environment and take initiative in program development.

Requirements:

Security clearance

Valid Saskatchewan drivers license

Family Service Regina values diversity and encourages applications from Indigenous peoples, visible minorities, and LGBTQ2S+ individuals.
