Are you ready to lead major, high-profile facility construction projects? The City of Regina is seeking a Senior Engineer or Project Engineer to manage complex facility capital projectssome exceeding $5 million. Youll work with consultants, contractors, and internal teams to deliver impactful, multi-stakeholder projects across the city.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead full-cycle facility construction projects: design, tendering, contract management, and delivery
Oversee consultants and contractors on-site
Manage project budgets and schedules
Conduct facility assessments and develop maintenance/capital plans
Prepare technical reports and present to leadership and Council
Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders
Qualifications:
Degree in Civil, Mechanical, Electrical or related Engineering
P.Eng. registration (or eligible) in Saskatchewan
5+ years of related experience (for Senior level); less for Project Engineer
Project Management certification an asset
Strong leadership, stakeholder communication, and construction knowledge
Familiar with codes, energy standards, and facility systems (structural, mechanical, electrical)
Other Requirements:
Valid Class 5 Drivers License and access to a vehicle
Site visits required; mostly office-based work
Satisfactory criminal record check required
