The Ministry of Finance offers dynamic and challenging work that supports innovation, creativity, and diversity. Our Operational and Strategic Policy Unit within the Revenue Division has an exciting term position for a Senior Policy Analyst, who will lead the development and analysis of legislative and regulatory proposals, coordinate the tax appeal process, and support cross-divisional initiatives.

The Revenue Division has an exciting opportunity to contribute to high-impact legislative and policy work in the role of Senior Policy Analyst. As a key member, you will lead legislative analysis and development, coordinate complex tax appeals, and collaborate with internal and external partners on emerging tax policy issues. We are looking for an experienced and motivated analyst who enjoys working in tax administration and has experience working with legislation, regulations, programs, and policies. As a Senior Policy Analyst, your keen research, communication, and collaboration skills will assist in creating and implementing new tax policies and programs.

Typically, the knowledge and experience required to achieve the above are obtained through completion of a post-secondary education in public policy, public administration, political science, or business administration, and a minimum of 3 years of relevant work experience. Accounting experience would be considered an asset.
