Brandt is currently looking to fill a few temporary positions for Accounts Payable Clerks, in our Regina, SK location. This position is responsible for purchasing and payables invoices and procedures.
Duties & Responsibilities
*Verify compliance with the companys purchasing and payables procedure
*Data entry of invoices
*Manage purchase orders, receiving, supplier invoices
*Match supplier invoices to receiving and PO's
*Code/post supplier invoices after matching
*Manage unpaid invoices
*Prepare and process cheque runs
*Match cheques/acquire signatures
*Send cheques/file invoices
*Files management and storage
*Monthly reporting
*Setting up new suppliers
*Other duties as assigned
Required Skills:
*Strong accounts payable skills
*Solid organizational and time management skills
*Ability to multitask in a fast paced environment
*Ability to manage multiple divisions
*Manage a high volume of supplier invoices, and filing
Required Experience:
*Previous accounts payable experience would be an asset
*Basic accounting knowledge, experience with Microsoft Office and the ability to work in a team environment are required
*Working knowledge of Provincial and Federal sales tax rules is an asset
