MicroAge Swift Current is Franchise operation that is a well-established full computer sales and service provider in Southwest Saskatchewan.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Responds to client inquiries concerning computer problems from our help desk, advising a route of service that will satisfy the customer in the best manner. Our service work may be in-shop or out of shop and will need to be scheduled with the appropriate technician. All the service jobs need to be followed by the service coordinator until the jobs completion.
As needed, and dependent on available time, this position may include some basic computer work doing in-shop computer repairs and remote support with customers.
MicroAge has a number of Managed services with some of them needing monitoring attention for Alerts, and that will be a responsibility to look after by the Service Coordinator.
Competencies
Technical Skills - An understanding of Computer issues is essential to work with the clients calling in. This person needs to know some basic things regarding Windows, basic networking, email configuration and software installations, etc. Knowing the architecture and types of components of computer systems and printers is essential to fulfill this position.
Organizational Support - Follows policies and procedures; Completes administrative tasks correctly and on time. Keeping a personal work schedule and monitoring the support staffs schedules will be an important daily task.
Compensation and Benefits
The employer offers a benefit package which includes Group Medical benefits plus option for a company RRSP plan.
The wage range will vary from $20 to $24 per hour depending on education and related work experience to match the job expectations
