Job Description:

We are looking for a hardworking and motivated Renovation Carpenter Helper to assist our carpenters on a variety of residential and commercial renovation projects. This is a great opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the trades and grow within a supportive construction team.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist with demolition, framing, drywall, flooring, siding, and finishing tasks

Load and unload materials, tools, and equipment

Keep job sites clean, organized, and safe

Measure and cut materials under supervision

Use hand and power tools safely

Follow directions and support carpenters as needed on all aspects of renovation work

Requirements:

Willingness to learn and take direction

Ability to lift heavy materials and work in physically demanding conditions

Dependable with a strong work ethic

Basic tool knowledge and mechanical aptitude

Valid drivers license or reliable transportation to job sites

Assets (not required):

Previous construction or renovation experience

Safety certifications (e.g., WHMIS, Fall Protection)

Basic tool kit
