The Midale Recreation Board is seeking a highly motivated and self- sufficient individual for the position of Midale Recreation Director. The Recreation Director will be an employee of the Town of Midale and report to the Recreation Board and the Town CAO. This person will seek out grant opportunities, be responsible for bookkeeping, work together with volunteer committees in developing programs, and oversee the recreation facilities. These facilities include the skating and curling rinks, swimming pool, parks and ball diamonds.
The ideal candidate must possess excellent communication, leadership and supervisory skills and have the ability to work independently as well as being a team member. Time management, planning and organizational skills are a valuable asset as well as computer knowledge (Word, Excel, QuickBooks, etc.) Candidates must possess a valid Class 5 drivers license and provide a recent Vulnerable Sector Check.
