Description

Mistik Management Ltd. is a Forest Management company comprised of 16 staff. We are in West Central Saskatchewan in the beautiful boreal forest area, where outdoor enthusiasts thrive on the abundant nature of rural Saskatchewan. Mistik manages all Woodland-related activities for Meadow Lake Mechanical Pulp Inc., NorSask Forest Products LP, and NorthWind Forest Products LP.

You will report to the Operations Manager in Meadow Lake, Saskatchewan, and collaborate closely with contractors, stakeholders, and the Ministry of Environment. Your role will involve implementing Mistik Management Ltd.s Safety, Certification, Production, and Quality programs in the Prince Albert and Meadow Lake Timber Supply Areas. The expected start date is August 4, 2025, but some flexibility is available.

Qualifications:
- University Degree or Technical Diploma in Forestry or Environmental Science;
- Registered Professional Forester or Technologist, or be eligible to register for a professional designation in Saskatchewan;
- Excellent communication and organizational skills;
- Working knowledge and understanding of OHS and Workplace Safety;
- Formal Safety Leadership experience preferred;
- Valid Class 5 drivers license in good standing;
- Possess a positive attitude and a willingness to learn and receive direction;
- Ability to build positive, results-oriented working relationships with stakeholders;
- Proactive approach to problem-solving with strong decision-making capability;
- Resourceful team player with the ability to work independently and in the field;
- Proficiency in computer systems and software skills (i.e., Microsoft Suite, Apple Products, GIS).
