Were seeking a skilled and versatile Caretaker to take on Maintenance & Facilities tasks. This opportunity may be fulfilled either through employment (part-time, flexible hours) or through a contractor/vendor service agreement. Our properties are well cared for; comprising three buildings, each with 24 residential suites. This role is responsible for both the day-to-day repair and upkeep of residential rental suites and the broader operational maintenance of building systems and grounds.

Responsibilities
Maintenance & Repairs: Ensure apartments are rent-ready by completing minor repairs and prep work. Perform repairs in residential suites, common space, building exterior or parking lot (e.g. plumbing, electrical, carpentry, drywall, painting, flooring). Replace or repair fixtures such as faucets, light switches, door hardware. Maintain and repair appliances. Assist with coordination of vendors or contractors.

Preventive Maintenance, Building Systems & Grounds: Conduct regular inspections of suites, common areas and building systems. Check, maintain, and perform basic troubleshooting on building mechanical systems such as HVAC, fire alarms, sprinklers and security systems. Perform groundskeeping duties

Health & Safety & Emergency Response: Respond promptly to emergency maintenance calls (e.g. leaks, floods, power outages).

Other: assist with movein/outs inspections, showing of suites.

Requirements
Basic knowledge of trades including carpentry, plumbing, painting, flooring, and electrical. Experience in checking and maintaining building mechanical equipment. Drivers License. Good communication.
