What is the role?
We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Geology Laboratory Technician to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting standardized tests on construction) to ensure compliance with industry standards and project specifications. This role is critical in supporting construction and infrastructure projects by ensuring material quality and consistency. Duties are:
-Test for quality insurance and quality control during aggregate crushing
-Test for quality assurance and quality control during paving
-Ability to lift up to 50 lbs on a regular basis
-Ability to read and interpret air photos
-Use a variety of lab equipment to test aggregate and asphalt
-Contact landowners for access to land
-Follow all safety and operational procedures

What do we value?
-A degree in Geology
-Minimum class 5 Drivers License
-Have your own vehicle
-Sieve analysis preferred
-Knowledge of aggregate types and deposits
-Knowledge of samplery test holes
-Willing to work out of town for up to 10 days with long hours
-Strong communication skills
