JANITOR

POSITION SUMMARY

Under the direction and supervision of the HOMEBASE Manager the Janitor will maintain the HOMEBASE and in a clean, hygienic and presentable condition at all times.

QUALIFICATIONS

    Knowledge & experience of cleaning supplies and methods
    Be in good physical condition, be able to lift heavy supplies, office furniture and equipment.
    Must be able to work independently
    Knowledge & experience of operation of cleaning equipment ie: shampooers, floor waxing machines, vacuums etc
    Must have a reliable vehicle and valid drivers license.
    General Maintenance experience

POSITION DUTIES

    Regular cleaning ie; sweep & wash floors, vacuum carpets and clean all offices
    Monthly cleaning tasks
    Annual major cleaning of building
    Monitor/maintenance of heating and furnaces supplies and equipment
    Maintenance of building, yard and equipment
    Security of building makes sure all windows & doors are locked
    Other related duties as directed by the HOMEBASE Manager
