Job Title: Part-Time On Call Swamper - Hydrovac Services
Regina Region
Job Description: As a swamper, You'll assist the Hydrovac Operator with a variety of excavation and support tasks on job sites. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys physical outdoor work, and has a flexible schedule.
Responsibilities:
-Assist the Hydrovac operator in safely operating equipment
-Set up and clean up job sites
-Handle hoses and tools during excavation
-Perform general labor tasks as needed
-Follow safety procedures and wear PPE at all times
Be available on call, sometimes with short notice
Requirements:
-Valid Saskatchewan Class 5 driver's license (class 1 or 3 an asset)
-Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in all weather conditions
-Be able to maintain compliance with drug and alcohol testing
-Safety certifications such as H2S, First Aid, CSTS, or Ground Disturbance are an asset
-Strong work ethic, reliability, and teamwork
-Previous experience in construction or hydrovac industry is preferred but not required
-Be able to legally work in Saskatchewan, Canada
-Proficient in the English language. Reading, writing,and speaking.
