Description

The Caretaker is one of Regina Housing Authority's front-line staff. You'll work on site to make sure our properties are in good repair for our clients.

What you'll do:
    -Routine property maintenance and repairs such as basic plumbing (changing/repairing taps, toilets, and sinks) and basic carpentry (Changing/repairing interior doors, cabinets, and vanities; drywall and painting)
    -Work with the on-site cleaner to keep the site looking good and to ensure vacant suites are prepared for the next tenant
    -Coordinate with Contractors and following up on projects booked on your site
    -Monitoring the boilers  checking pressure daily to ensure they are functioning properly
    -Preventative maintenance  changing filters, belts, inspecting equipment
    -Yard work and snow removal

What you'll need:
    -1-3 years experience with general maintenance and repairs with the above items
    -The ability to communicate with a wide variety of people from all walks of life
    -Excellent time management skills and the ability to juggle multiple priorities
    -A love for teamwork and the ability to work well with others
    -A valid driver's license and a reliable vehicle
    -A variety of tools to complete basic maintenance and repairs
    -The ability to provide a clean criminal record check
