Melfort Daycare Co-operative Sites #1 and #2 are licensed for 75 children and operate Monday to Friday, providing high-quality childcare for infants, toddlers, preschoolers, and school-age children (6 weeks to 12 years). Our programming is guided by the Play and Exploration: Early Learning Program Guide, focusing on child-led, developmentally appropriate learning experiences.

We are currently hiring for an Inclusion Staff position at our Site 1  Downstairs location. This is a contract position that provides support for a child within a room. The scheduled shift is 8:15 AM to 4:45 PM, aligning with the childs hours of care. This is a term position that will remain in place as long as the child is in our care and funding is available.

The successful Early Childhood Educator (ECE) will work closely with team members, develop and maintain positive relationships with parents, and serve as a supportive role model for children. Responsibilities include supporting the childs participation in daily routines, planning and implementing individualized and inclusive programming, supervising, and assisting with daily cleaning and other tasks as assigned by the Executive Director/Director.
