BUILDING MAINTENANCE PERSON

Full-time Maintenance person required for St. Volodymyr Villa, a five-building seniors residence.  Reporting directly to the Property Services Manager, duties include landlord responsibility for maintenance of buildings, suites & grounds, including maintenance of mechanical and electrical systems.  Routine building inspections with the ability to troubleshoot and diagnose all maintenance requests, while providing excellent service and ensuring safe and positive interactions with residents.  The successful candidate will be able to positively interact with seniors, and identify with their needs, disposition and lifestyles.  Must possess or be eligible for Fireman Boiler Operator Certificate.  Plumbing experience is a definite asset.  This permanent position offers group insurance and pension benefits, with salary dependent on experience and training, in the $50,000 to $60,000 range.
