Description

Position and Responsibilities
-Operation of heavy equipment in underground development and production areas, including manual and remote mucking.
-Assist in the installation and removal of reamers, moving raise bore drills and construction equipment required for backfilling of raises and stopes.
-Daily operator care rounds.

Requirements of the position:
-Minimum grade 12 education or equivalent
-Three to five years of heavy equipment operation and knowledge
-Successful completion of underground training modules
-Good reading, writing and communication skills are essential
-Ability to work in an underground environment
-Excellent safety and attendance record
-Rotating day shift/night shift schedule

Assets:
