Advancement Advisor is hiring a User Support Technician to assist internal users and small-to-medium enterprise (SME) clients. The successful candidate will provide technical support, resolve hardware/software issues, and advise clients on cost-effective IT solutions suited to their business needs.
Key Responsibilities:
Respond to user and client IT issues
Troubleshoot hardware, software, and network problems
Log and manage support tickets
Provide remote/on-site assistance and basic training
Recommend affordable tech solutions for SME clients
Maintain IT equipment and ensure asset compliance
Qualifications:
Diploma or degree in Computer Science or related field
1+ year experience in technical support or helpdesk
Strong communication and problem-solving skills
Familiarity with Windows, Microsoft 365, and cloud tools
IT certifications (A+, CCNA, etc.) are an asset
Preference are given to Canadian citizens, Permanent Resident or Open Work Permit holders.
