Description

We are a small town based trucking company and feedlot seeking a reliable, experienced full-time mechanic to oversee the maintenance and repairs of our fleet of trucks, trailers, and agricultural equipment. This is a great opportunity for someone with a strong background in heavy-duty truck and trailer repair who is looking for long-term stability in a supportive and well-equipped work environment.
Key Responsibilities:
    Perform regular maintenance, repairs, and inspections on a fleet of heavy-duty trucks and trailers.
    Service and repair agricultural equipment as required.
    Manage and maintain an extensive inventory of parts and order parts as needed.  
    Keep detailed records of all service and repairs performed.
    Ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards, including SGI Inspections for our fleet as well as doing CVIPs for outside customers.
    Oversee the operation and upkeep of our full-service shop and truck wash.
    Supervise labourers and truck wash attendant.
Qualifications:
    Proven experience working with heavy-duty trucks and trailers.
    Strong knowledge of agricultural equipment maintenance and repair.
    Ability to obtain or already have an SGI Inspection number.
    Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills.
    Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
    A valid drivers license and reliable transportation.
