The City of Yorkton is looking for a Water Works Manager. The manager will oversee operation, maintenance, and regulatory compliance of Yorktons class IV and Class III water treatment systems.
Will possess exceptional leadership and organizational skills, foster safety, collaboration, and continuous improvement. Manage both the technical and human aspects of waterworks operations, ensure the city's water systems meet the highest standards of efficiency and reliability. Furthermore, the candidate should proactively identify opportunities and solutions in water treatment and distribution.

Duties Include: Oversight of plant operations, including process control adjustments, SCADA system. Equipment maintenance. Supervise, train, and mentor staff. Safety, process optimization, analytical lab work. Compliance with provincial and federal regulations, including the Canadian Drinking Water Quality Guidelines, Wastewater Systems Effluent Regulations (WSER), and Effluent Reporting Regulating Information System (ERRIS). Lead the preparation of operational reports. Permit negotiations and maintain accurate compliance records. Assist in capital. The City of Yorkton is looking for a Water Works Manager.
