Explore this Operations Manager opportunity, a newly created role to accommodate business growth and expansion with our Client, a leader in the specialty manufacturing industry!  As Operations Manager, you will oversee a team of skilled employees, guiding their career path to leadership/managerial roles, as well as enhance operational efficiencies and processes for the firm.

This position is based in Weyburn, Saskatchewan, a beautiful small city and place to call home!

Responsibilities
- Provide leadership and manage an efficient manufacturing Operations Division in the areas of Quality Control, Maintenance, Inventory, Purchasing and Yard Logistics. Build confidence and trust with management, employees, customers, vendors and the business communities.  
- Work collaboratively with the Production Manager in project planning, timelines and operational efficiencies between departments to meet customer needs.  
- Mentor/coach Employees and instill/maintain a positive, motivated team environment.  Oversee the daily operations, ensuring efficiency, productivity, high quality work, safety and profitability. Provide hands on work as required to support team efforts.  Evaluate and recommend process and operational improvements to enhance customer service.  

Candidate requirements:
- 10+ years demonstrated leadership experience in operations management within the manufacturing, maintenance or related industry. Understanding of budgeting, cost control, and financial reporting.
- Working knowledge of Word, Excel, Outlook and accounting/budgeting.  
- Positive leader and coach, motivated to mentor and support the training and professional growth of the employee team.  Able to guide and engage teams towards achieving common goals.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.  Able to manage multiple tasks, prioritize effectively and meet deadlines.
