Seeking Heavy Construction Supervisor for a senior position.

Competitive wage to be negotiated based on experience, and not limited to pay range listed.

Duties include working with management for project planning and leading on site earthwork and heavy construction crews.  This is a planning, leadership, and hands-on role requiring knowledge, experience, and competent and safe supervision and equipment operation.

Responsibilities:
- Participate in all stages of job planning and execution
- Supervise work sites and crews, schedules, and planning
- Promote safety culture in COR certified program
- Operate heavy equipment and highway trucks as needed
- Communicate and work with team members for efficient project completion.
- Work safely around construction equipment and on sites
- Complete daily paperwork as required

Experience:
- Prior roles with increasing responsibility for project planning and leadership
- Strong knowledge of safety procedures and protocols
- Operation of a variety of heavy construction equipment
- Following and executing instructions from consultants and engineers
- Earthworks, construction, or related experience is a must

Desirable certifications:
- Ground disturbance
- Leadership for Safety Excellence
- First aid
- Safety Construction Orientation Training (SCOT)
- Occupational Health and Safety (OHC) level 1 and 2
- Class 1A license is an asset
