Description

Provide nurturing care for children; Implement routines and schedules; feed children and change diapers, as well as maintain proper hygiene.

Maintain cleanliness of the facility, including toys to provide a sanitary and safe environment.

Develop and encourage age appropriate learning and socialization help children learn basic skills and concepts such as communication, manners,etc

Plan and develop childcare programs and activities

Maintain a safe workspace monitoring children for health, behavioral and emotional issues and report concerns to the director and or parent, as well as keep confidential.

Promote positive behavior and provide guidance or approved discipline as needed.

Aid children to discover new interests introducing them to art, music, sports and other social activities

Maintain records and communication related to childcare

work with parents to help children progress towards specific educational and behavioral goals.

Prepare snacks and organize mealtimes

Other duties as outlined by the Director

A Child Care Certificate is a asset but not mandatory.If you are willing to complete training to receive certification.

Criminal record and vulnerable sector check must be current.

Valid First Aide /CPR
