Job Description: The Administrative Assistant, Practitioner Staff Affairs is primarily responsible for administrative support in the Practitioner Staff Affairs department.

Experience
- 3-5 years experience in an administrative support position
Education
- Office Administration Diploma
- Office Administration certificate
Competencies
- Communication skills
- Advanced - Organizational skills
- Advanced - Interpersonal skills
- Advanced - Computer skills
Knowledge and Abilities
- Ability to establish and maintain effective work relationships.
- Knowledge of Canadian Medical Protective Association
- Self motivated with the ability to work independently
- Knowledge in the Saskatchewan health care system
- Knowledge in quality improvement theory and methodologies
- Ability to prioritize to meet deadlines and work effectively under pressure
- Knowledge of College of Physician and Surgeons of Saskatchewan
- Knowledge of HRSDC, Citizenship and Immigration laws and guidelines
- Ability to assume responsibility and work independently
- Knowledge in Medical Services Branch billing procedures is an asset
- Must be well organized and able to meet deadlines
- Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality of information
