The Property Management Branch within SaskBuilds and Procurement is seeking a motivated and knowledgeable individual to join our service team as a Tradesperson to provide support to correctional facilities in Saskatoon.

As a Tradesperson, you will apply your knowledge and expertise to maintain government-operated facilities in Saskatoon and the surrounding area, ensuring a safe and functional environment for customers and clients. Primary duties in this role include:

-Performing facility maintenance duties such as operating, maintaining and cleaning building mechanical systems and HVAC systems, including providing minor repairs to these systems.
-Performing safe and efficient operation of the boiler systems and air conditioning equipment.

You will posses a 5th Class Power Engineers Certificate or a Fireman's Boiler Operator Certificate and Refrigeration Operator Certificate. Training will be offered to the right candidate during the probation period. A Journeyperson trade certificate and/or skidsteer training would be considered an asset.

Standard shift is Monday through Friday day schedules; however, the successful candidate will also have the ability to work during evening hours, as well as weekends and holidays to accommodate a shared standby rotation of 24 hours for seven (7) days.
