Description

Express Employment Professionals are recruiting a detail-oriented and organized Estimator/Project Manager to support our client's growing mechanical service and installation operations. This role will focus on estimating, project planning, procurement, and coordination of field operations. The successful candidate will be a key player in ensuring projects are planned, documented, and executed efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:
Prepare accurate cost estimates and quotations for mechanical projects related to water treatment plants, wells, irrigation systems, and sewage lift stations.
Develop and submit professional project proposals and reports to clients.
Manage and organize project documentation, ensuring clarity and compliance.
Procure materials and equipment for all projects, organize and label project-specific materials for efficient deployment.
Coordinate logistics for field teams, ensuring timely delivery of materials, clear project scopes, and resource availability.
Collaborate with team leads and field staff to schedule and execute work according to project timelines.
Maintain accurate records of estimates, work orders, purchase orders, and client communications.
Assist in managing emergency and unscheduled service work when required.
Spend time in the warehouse/yard to help organize and prepare project materials for installation.

Skills and Qualifications:
Previous experience in estimating, coordination, or project management in a mechanical, construction, or utilities environment is preferred.
Strong organizational and communication skills, with a keen attention to detail.
Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced and deadline-driven environment.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook); experience with project management or estimating software is an asset.
Mechanical aptitude and understanding of piping systems, pumps, and municipal infrastructure is a strong asset.
Valid drivers license is required.
