Description

A2SKI Industrial is seeking a motivated and experienced Utility Tree Trimmer Foreman to oversee our tree trimming operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in vegetation management, excellent leadership skills, and a commitment to safety and efficiency.
Responsibilities:
    Supervise and coordinate the activities of tree trimming crews
    Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations
    Inspect work sites to ensure quality and adherence to specifications
    Train and mentor tree trimming personnel
    Develop and implement work schedules and project plans
    Maintain equipment and ensure proper usage and maintenance
    Communicate effectively with utility companies, property owners, and crew members
    Manage and resolve and issues or conflicts that arise on the job site
    Prepare and submit reports on work progress and project outcomes
Qualifications
    Minimum of 5 years of experience in tree trimming or utility vegetation management
    Proven experience in a supervisory or leadership role
    Utility Tree Trimming certification
    High School Diploma or equivalent, additional education in forestry, arboriculture, or related field is an asset
    Aerial Life Operations and Fall Protection
    Chainsaw Safety Certification
    Tree Risk Management training
    Strong knowledge of tree trimming techniques, tools and equipment
    Valid Drivers Licence with a clean driving record
    Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions
    Proficiency in basic computer applications (e.g. MS Office)
    Lifting heavy equipment and materials (up to 50 lbs)
