We are seeking a dedicated and organized Human Resources Assistant to support our HR department in Recruitment and related tasks. The individual in this role is responsible for external and Internal recruitment processes.
End to End Recruitment
Arranges new employee orientation and ensures all items on the orientation checklist are completed and returned to Human Resources (e.g. banking information, personal data, etc) and the Manager (e.g. safety requirements, etc) and completed checklists and required documentation is shared for payroll purposes and stored in the employees personnel files.
Develops and/or updates and communicates organization reporting structure/charts.
Develops and/or updates employee contact information database; includes emergency contact information for the management team.
Creates helpful databases for management to complete and assists others with navigating or performing required system-related entries.
Responds to a wide-range of HR related enquiries; researches information as necessary.
Provides assistance with administering the employee payroll system and/or responds to payroll related inquiries as required.
Creates and maintains efficient and effective technology or paper-based files (e.g. personnel files, employee data, employment applications, etc).
Troubleshoots system related issues and follows up with off-site support as required.
Provides additional assistance for a wide-range of human resource related duties/responsibilities.
Ensures confidentiality and privacy of information.
Takes minutes at meetings and perform other duties as need arises.
Qualifications:
Diploma/Certificate in HR or Business Administration preferred.
One (1) to three (3) years experience working in the Human Resources profession including specific experience in Recruitment .
