Cyber Security Analyst
Location: Regina, Saskatchewan (On-site)
Work Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00 a.m.  5:00 p.m. CST
Type: Contract | Full-Time
About the Role:
Client is seeking two Cyber Security Analysts to join its growing Enterprise Security team. Ideal candidates will bring hands-on cybersecurity expertise and thrive in a collaborative environment focused on securing IT and Industrial Control Systems (ICS) infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities:
Monitor security incidents and events across environments
Investigate and respond to alerts and security breaches
Conduct threat and risk assessments
Review and analyze reported phishing emails
Create security awareness training and materials
Perform vulnerability assessments and penetration testing
Implement and manage technical controls across cloud and on-prem infrastructure
Use tools like Python, PowerShell, .Net, KQL for security automation
Requirements:
12 years of cybersecurity or related IT experience
Experience with tools such as email/web filtering, endpoint protection, firewalls, IPS
Hands-on with vulnerability scanning platforms
Security certifications (CompTIA Security+, CCNA Security, CEH, or CISSP)
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
On-call availability on a rotating basis
