City of Regina Finance Department
The City of Regina is seeking detail-oriented Accounting & Payroll Clerks to support payroll, attendance, and costing functions within the Financial Analysis & Support Branch. Youll be responsible for accurately capturing and processing labour, materials, and equipment data for assigned departments using financial and attendance systems. While initially assigned to a specific team, you may also provide support across other departments.
Key Responsibilities:
Verify and process payroll, attendance, and cost-related transactions
Maintain employee time and attendance records
Generate and interpret reports for supervisors and staff
Respond to inquiries and ensure data accuracy
Support work scheduling, documentation, and system updates
Qualifications:
Grade 12 plus accounting/payroll and office admin courses
4+ years of experience in accounting and payroll functions
50 wpm typing speed and strong computer skills (Excel, Oracle, WAM)
Knowledge of payroll practices, collective agreements, and accounting principles
Excellent attention to detail, time management, and communication skills
Additional Requirements:
Criminal record check and proof of education
May be subject to testing and additional assessments
