Description

Unity Credit Union is seeking a dedicated and skilled Member Experience Representative II to join our team. This is a permanent, on-site, full-time position (37.5 hours per week) that requires specialized expertise in maintaining high standards of member service excellence, quality, and accuracy.

Position Description: The Member Experience Representative II plays a crucial role in ensuring exceptional member service. Reporting to the Manager of Member Experience, you will:
Process member transactions such as deposits, withdrawals, loan and utility payments, foreign currency drafts, calculation of foreign and domestic exchange, cheque cashing.
Manage and administer various accounts, including new membership openings, closures, wires, and lawyers trust accounts.
Assists members with using ATM, coin counter, mobile app, online banking and issuing debit cards when lost or stolen.
Listen to and recognize member needs, making product or service recommendations in their best interest.
Develop and maintain thorough knowledge of applicable credit union policies, products, services, and government legislation, particularly as it pertains to estates, account opening, closing, and maintenance.
Actively refer business opportunities to appropriate operational areas, including referrals for members with complex financial planning needs to the Certified Financial Planner, lending needs to the lending department, and investing to the investment specialists.
Promoting Unity Credit Union and maintaining active involvement in the community.
