Description

Heritage Christian School is seeking an individual to fulfill the role of Educational Assistant.
This is a 1.0 fulltime position for the 2025-2026 school year with the possibility of extending
for a longer period. The position involves working 9:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. on all days in which
students are in school.
Qualifications:
Grade 12 or equivalent
Possessing strong communication skills to interact with children and well-developed
interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and multi-task
Possessing competent technology skills
Holding an Educational Assistant certificate or an Early Childhood Development
certificate is preferred
Or a minimum of one (1) year relevant childcare experience
Holding First Aid/CPR training is an asset
This position may involve working one on one with students with specific learning and
behavioral needs, supporting students in learning activities involving math, reading, writing
and computer skills, and, potentially, supervising student groups as well.
