LIUNA Local 180  Now Accepting Applications for Experienced Labourers

LIUNA Local 180 is currently accepting applications for Labourers with experience in utility and underground construction for a watermain relining project.

Applicants must have experience with the following:

Hand digging for utility locating and spotting

Assembling, Installing, and Dismantling shoring and trench boxes

Operating jackhammers

Spotting equipment

Using small compaction tools and equipment for backfilling

Setting up and removing traffic control equipment and fencing

This position is physically demanding and involves extensive shoveling, heavy lifting, and working around heavy equipment and live traffic. Please note there is no Subsistence/LOA or Travel for this position.

Required Certifications & Licenses:

SCOT/CSTS (Safety Construction Orientation Training)
