Vitality Veterinary Services is in search of a full-time Veterinary Medical Assistant to join our growing team. The position will be in a brand-new mixed animal clinic in Yorkton, SK. We currently staff two DVMs, 2 RVTs and 1 receptionist. Services offered include mixed animal routine preventive care, internal medicine, surgery, dentistry, radiology, and in-home euthanasia.

Duties involve both reception and back-end support, including animal restraint, preparation of surgery packs, maintenance of equipment, sample packaging, exercising animals, cleaning kennels, answering phones, scheduling appointments, monitoring email, checking patients in and out, invoicing, inventory, etc.  

The successful candidate must have exceptional communication skills, the ability to pay close attention to detail, and self-motivation. A Veterinary Medical Assistant certificate and previous experience in a veterinary clinic are assets, but not required.
