Director, Priority Saskatchewan and Stakeholder Relations - RES007845
The Ministry of SaskBuilds and Procurement is seeking a collaborative leader who understands the importance of relationships with industry and businesses as well as various procurement experts and others across the Government of Saskatchewan. This opportunity is for one (1) permanent position.
As Director, you will:
- Foster and maintain strong relationships with diverse stakeholders including local suppliers, labour groups, business associations, Crown corporations, MASH (municipalities, academic institutions, schools, and hospitals) sector representatives, and Indigenous communities and enterprises;
- Lead senior-level collaboration with internal and external stakeholders, including: client ministries, Crown corporations, public sector agencies, the MASH sector, local suppliers, business associations, Indigenous audiences and labour representatives; and more!
To be successful in the role, the ideal candidate will possess:
- Stakeholder management skills to support and enhance provincial supplier capacity and resilience;
- A collaborative and results-driven attitude, with a strong focus on business relationship management;
- Proven ability to deliver innovative solutions in fast-paced, dynamic environments; and
- Expertise in identifying and analyzing complex problems.
Typically, the knowledge required for this position would be obtained through:
- 5 years of experience in the field of competitive intelligence, economic development, or related areas.
- Education in the field of business and/or economic development would be considered an asset.
- An equivalent combination of education and work experience will be considered.
Compensation will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.
