The Role
Reporting to the jet boring system supervisor, you will be responsible for the operation of the jet boring system (JBS) at the Cigar Lake Operation.

In this role, you will:
-Organize and perform daily operator care rounds on the JBS and all other related equipment.
-Monitor, troubleshoot, and continuously improve the JBS while ensuring safe and effective uranium ore production.
-Load & unload cassettes/consumables using a forklift.

Required:  
-Minimum grade 12 diploma or equivalent
-At least three years of industrial experience
-Equivalent combination of education and work experience considered
-Strong team player with excellent communication skills
-Strong ability to use and navigate automated mining technology and computer software
-Work a rotational schedule and commute to site by aircraft

Recommended:
-Work experience with navigating and operating DCS systems
-Background in the operation of complex drilling machinery
-Experience in drilling and underground mining
-Forklift Operator certificate
-Familiarity with ISO systems
