Description

Lake Country Co-op invites applications for the position of Bar Manager at our brand-new Canadian Brewhouse restaurant in Prince Albert, Saskatchewan. If you are passionate about providing an exceptional dining/tavern experience for guests and are looking to use your mixology experience and leadership skills to take our new business venture to the next level, then Lake Country Co-op and The Canadian Brewhouse are looking for you!

Your Purpose: The Bar Manager is responsible for overseeing all aspects of the bar function, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations of the entire bar department. They are accountable for ensuring liquor inventory and ordering is completed and for scheduling bartenders and support staff. The Bar Manager maintains all equipment and sufficient inventory levels to meet business demands.

What You Will Do:
Demonstrate the behaviors and actions to support Lake Country Co-operatives and The Canadian Brewhouses vision, mission and safety principles to make a difference in guests lives.
Manage the activities of the Bar, driving sales, service and satisfaction.
Oversee all aspects pertaining to drink preparation and drink service, including prep lists, recipe books, drink preparation, presentation, service and waste.
Lead by example when bartending  follow service steps, keep a positive attitude, and provide great service.
Create the bar schedule based on targets and projections and ensure labour budgets are being met shift by shift.
Manage and monitor the liquor and glassware inventory, drive sales of slow-moving or high inventory products.
Be responsible for the maintenance of inventory systems, BevCheck, and draft systems.
Be responsible for completing daily, weekly, and periodic administrative paperwork, recordkeeping, and reporting.
Be responsible for bar organization and cleanliness; adhere to cleaning and maintenance schedules and ensure staff follow the procedures set out in the Health and Safety manual.
