The Saskatchewan Prevention Institute is seeking a full-time STBBI (Sexually Transmitted and Blood Borne Infections) Project Assistant. The position is renewable upon confirmation of funding at the end of each fiscal year (April 1).

Nature and Scope
As a provincial organization, staff must be willing and able to travel throughout the province to meet program objectives. Staff must have a valid Saskatchewan drivers license and are required to submit a criminal record check.
Specific Accountabilities
Reporting to the Program Manager and Executive Director, the STBBI Project Assistant is specifically accountable for:
1.supporting the coordination of STBBI information and data
2.facilitating access to best practices, provincial policies, events, and educational resources related to provincial STBBI priorities
3.enhancing the accessibility and usability of STBBI resources in Saskatchewan
4.assisting in activities that build the capacity for peers, healthcare providers, and allied professionals to provide STBBI prevention, treatment, care, and support services based on best practice and up-to-date knowledge
5.monitoring the STBBI training and education budget that is administered through the Saskatchewan Prevention Institute
6.administering the Infant Formula Program in Saskatchewan, including reporting on financial expenditures and statistics
