Description
The Hospitality Aide plays a key role in supporting day-to-day operations of our Independent Living facility, and able to work alone in the residence. As first point of contact, this individual must be welcoming, professional, and proactive in meeting the needs of residents, visitors, and prospective clients. The role combines administrative tasks, hospitality and light housekeeping duties, ensuring a safe, clean, and community-focused environment.
FRONT DESK & RESIDENT RELATIONS (Day & Evening Shifts)
Greet and assist residents, guests, and visitors with a warm, professional demeanor
Answer phones and respond to inquiries with clarity and care
Schedule tours, appointments, and follow-ups for prospective residents
Provide information on services, amenities, and community life
Hospitality & Light Housekeeping (Evening Shifts Primarily)
Set and prep dining room tables for upcoming meals
Help servers with serving food and drinks if needed during mealtimes
Light tidying and sanitation of common areas (lounges,front entry, mail area, etc.)
Support with light laundry duties(resident linens,dining linens, etc.)
Conduct regular walk-throughs to ensure cleanliness and resident safety
QUALIFICATIONS:
Previous customer service, hospitality, or front desk experience an asset
Strong interpersonal and communication skills; able to engage respectfully with seniors
Comfortable using phones, calendars, and basic computer programs
Ability to multitask, prioritize and respond with a service-first mindset
Capable of light physical duties (lifting laundry, cleaning tasks)
