Overview:
The White Bear Education Complex (WBEC) seeks an accounts clerk. WBEC is 13 km north of
Carlyle, in the heart of beautiful Moose Mountain, near the majestic White Bear Lake. WBEC
believes in fostering a school climate guided by the 7 Grand Teachings - bravery, honesty,
humility, love, respect, truth, and wisdom. WBECs second-level services are provided by the
Treaty Education Alliance (TEA).

The duties and responsibilities are as follows:
Process and prepare payroll, accounts receivable, and accounts payable for the White Bear
Education Complex and Post Secondary.
Present financial information at Board of Education meetings
Prepare financial reports for the Board of Education
Work with and report to the Director of Education
Update the administration on financial transactions and status
Build positive working relations with the Board of Education, administration, and WBEC
team
Complete financial reports within timeframes and deadlines.
Skills and Qualifications:
The successful applicant will possess the necessary knowledge, skills, and abilities to
manage all aspects of payroll administration and accounting.
Completion of a Certificate, Diploma, or Degree in Commerce, Human Resources,
Business Administration, or Canadian Payroll Certification will be considered an asset
A Minimum of Grade 12
Computer and business equipment knowledge and skills
Preference for additional training in accounting and administration
Personal experience and/or knowledge and understanding of the First Nations' culture will
be considered an asset
Salary:
Salary is based on education and experience.
