At MTS Training School, we believe professional drivers are made, not just tested. We're committed to raising the bar in commercial driver training, not by teaching students to "just pass a test," but by ensuring they gain the skills, confidence, & awareness to stay safe on the road for the long haul.

We are looking for Class 1A & 3A Driving Instructors who want to make a meaningful difference in the trucking industry & improve road safety for everyone. No prior instructor experience? No problem, we provide training to become a certified instructor.

What You'll Do:

Train students in Class 1A and 3A driving, focusing on safe, professional, and competent driving not shortcuts.

Provide coaching, mentorship, & hands-on instruction in both the yard & in-truck settings.

Teach proper techniques for vehicle handling, defensive driving, pre-trip inspections,& compliance with provincial and federal regulations.

Instill safe driving habits & professional ethics in new drivers.

Evaluate student progress & provide constructive feedback to support their development.

Benefits package

Requirements:

Hold a valid Class 1A license for a minimum of 5 years.

Have at least 500,000 km or 6,000 hours of Class 1A driving experience in North America within the last 10 years.

Minimum education: Grade 10.

A good driving record & willingness to submit to a criminal record check.
