Facilities Project Engineer

The City of Regina is seeking a passionate and driven Facilities Project Engineer to lead and support a wide range of facility improvement and construction projects. From modernizing civic buildings to planning new infrastructure, youll directly impact the spaces that shape our community.
What Youll Do:
Manage end-to-end facility projects (design, budgeting, contracts, construction).
Perform engineering assessments, feasibility studies, and asset planning.
Prepare technical reports, AutoCAD designs, and RFPs.
Oversee consultants/contractors and ensure project quality, safety, and compliance.
Support long-term facility asset management strategies across 200+ City sites.
What You Bring:
Degree in Engineering (Civil, Mechanical, Industrial, etc.).
1+ year experience in an engineering or facility environment.
Knowledge of building systems, construction standards, and project management.
Proficiency in MS Office; experience with AutoCAD and asset management tools an asset.
Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder coordination skills.
Eligible for registration with APEGS; valid Class 5 drivers license required.
