Job Description: The Administrative Assistant is accountable for contributing to the efficient operation of the department by providing secretarial, organizational and administrative support services.
Human Resources Exemption: No
Experience
- Three to five years experience in a senior administrative assistant position
Education
- Grade 12 plus graduation from an approved office education training program
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
- Demonstrated knowledge and competency in all aspects of Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and other programs necessary to support this service area.
- Excellent communication, listening, interpersonal, public relations, organizational skills, and attention to detail.
- Self motivated with the ability to work independently and to exercise sound judgment in setting priorities.
- Typing speed of 65 70 wpm.
