Key Collision Centre, a member of the Key Auto Group, invites applications for the position of Pre-Apprentice Autobody Technician. This is an entry-level position in the Autobody trade and satisfactory performance can lead to an apprenticeship and journeyperson certification.

WHAT YOU DO (DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES):
*Assist technicians with the restoration and repainting of motor vehicle body parts
*Complete stone chip repair on windshields and glass replacements
*Check vehicles in for repair
*Conduct pre and post scans on vehicles
*Pick up and drop off customer vehicles as needed
*Perform general housekeeping tasks such as decluttering work areas and maintaining shop equipment
*Follow safety guidelines and wear personal protective equipment
PERFORMANCE STANDARDS:
Pre-Apprentice Autobody Technicians are expected to meet key performance indicators related to safety, quality control and shop maintenance. Additionally, possessing and maintaining a valid drivers license and providing a criminal record clearance are conditions of employment.
