Solutions Architect
City of Regina | Full-Time | Information Technology

Are you a strategic thinker with strong technical expertise? The City of Regina is hiring a Solutions Architect to lead the design, development, and implementation of innovative business systems. You'll guide major IT projects, enhance existing applications, and influence the City's digital futureall while mentoring analysts and collaborating across departments.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead systems analysis, design, and implementation for new and existing business solutions

Manage vendor relationships, RFPs, and software acquisition or development

Support and improve existing systems; ensure change management compliance

Provide technical leadership, mentor analysts, and contribute to strategic IT planning

Apply project management principles to deliver complex technology initiatives

Drive process improvements and ensure quality assurance through testing and documentation

What You Bring:

Degree or diploma in Computer Science or related field

6+ years' experience in IT solutions, including 2+ years in an analyst role

Strong knowledge of .NET, PL/SQL, Oracle, and SQL Server

Understanding of SDLC, IT service management, and project management standards

Proven ability to lead, communicate clearly, and manage multiple priorities

Experience in public sector IT environments and vendor management is a plus
