Nelson GM is hiring a customer-focused Sales Consultant to guide clients through the vehicle buying process. The ideal candidate is a strong communicator with a passion for vehicles and a commitment to delivering an exceptional experience from start to finish.
-Greet and guide customers through the sales process with professionalism
-Recommend vehicles and options based on customer needs
-Lead test drives, present quotes, and assist with custom builds
-Explain features, warranties, and financing; coordinate with Finance
-Handle trade-ins and ensure smooth delivery of sold vehicles
-Follow up with leads via calls, emails, and texts
-Maintain a clean, organized lot
-Inspect new arrivals and support vehicle prep
-Assist with dealer transfers and related documentation
-Collaborate with Finance, Parts, Service, and Management teams
-Manage post-sale tasks and dealership system updates
-Stay current on GM products, incentives, and training
-Meet or exceed sales targets
-Communicate with fairness and professionalism
-Adapt to flexible hours and maintain a solution-focused attitude
-Understand basic financing and payment options
Experience in automotive or customer sales is preferred. Strong communication, organization, and time-management skills are essential. Confident in handling objections and closing sales ethically. Proficient with digital tools and basic vehicle financing knowledge. Detail-oriented, adaptable, and able to work independently or in a team. Valid drivers license with a clean record and flexibility for evenings/weekends may be required.
