Description

Brodsky Construction is seeking an experienced welder/fabricator. Machining skills will be considered an asset (lathe, milling machine, etc). Wage will depend on experience.

Responsibilities:

Performing welding repairs on heavy earthmoving equipment.
Fabrication of support equipment.
Working in a shop setting, and in the field as required.
Communicating with shop and field mechanics.
Assisting shop and field mechanics with repairs as required.
Adherence to company safety program.
Detailed tracking of records and costs using company software.

Requirements:

Must be driven to excel in your position, and improve every day.
5 years experience in a fabrication setting.
Machining skills will be considered an asset (lathe, milling machine, etc).
Mechanical experience will be considered an asset.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Must be skilled in the use of computers.
Experience using Caterpillar SIS will be considered an asset.
Physically fit.
Valid drivers license.
Willing to work away from home.
Willing to work 50 hours per week plus overtime availability.

Possession of current safety tickets (first aid, TDG etc.) will be considered an asset. Please include copies of any certificates with your resume.

Job Types:
Full-time, Permanent

Pay:
$30.00-$40.00 per hour

Expected hours:
50 per week
