Description

Join our team as a Traffic and Transportation Scheduler (TTS) to coordinate outbound logistics and scheduling for smooth warehouse operations and on-time customer deliveries. This role supports the Warehouse and Shipping Manager and collaborates with internal teams, carriers, and customs brokers.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Coordinate outbound freight and monitor shipments
- Manage dock schedules and ensure FIFO compliance
- Align freight with production plans
- Ensure compliance with safety, food safety & environmental regulations
- Monitor transportation documentation and insurance
- Implement new tech and scheduling systems
- Track carrier performance and support improvements
- Maintain vendor relations, assist with claims and evaluations
- Support logistics planning and inventory transformation
- Communicate professionally and maintain a clean, safe work area
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- 2+ years in shipping/transportation logistics
- Proficient in Microsoft Office; able to learn new systems
- Strong interpersonal, communication & customer service skills
- Team player with problem-solving ability
- Forklift certificate, or willing to obtain
- Detail-oriented, organized
- Comfortable in grain processing environment with allergens
- Follows instructions accurately
Hours of work:
Monday to Friday, 8 hrs/day. Some off-hour availability may be required.
