This Consumer Advisor role will manage and grow a portfolio of members in alignment with the organizations segmentation and sales strategy with loans, deposits and applicable wealth services. By offering responsive and advisory services to members and nonmembers, the Consumer Advisor works to understand and anticipate member needs. This means understanding who their members are, what products and services they currently have, and what products and services they are likely to need in the future. The key responsibilities for this role include:
- Provide advice to members and prospects on all aspects of consumer banking and work to ensure both our members and our organization are well represented.
- Develop and maintain a deposit and loan portfolio and develop long term relationships with members.
- Ensure all deposit and loan activities are in compliance with relevant legislation, regulations, policies, and procedures.
- Recognize and act upon business development opportunities that would be beneficial to the organization and its members as a whole.
- Must have the ability to travel to and cover regionally as required.
Qualifications:
- Have completed some post-secondary education plus 3-5 years job related experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Proven business development, sales, and service skills. Strong communication skills with the ability to relate well to members and coworkers.
- Commitment to grow IFCU business attained through demonstrated use of sales and service principles.
- Detail-oriented and risk aware, contributing to the safeguarding of our company's assets and reputation.
- Proficient in digital literacy, including (but not limited to) critical thinking, problem solving and navigation using digital solutions.
- Use and comfortability with a variety of Microsoft 365 applications (Excel, Teams, Viva, Power Automate, PowerBI).
