Description

Lake Country Co-op invites applications for the position of Part-Time Clerk/Cashier at our Food Store location in Kinistino, Saskatchewan.

Reporting to Food Store Team Leader, responsibilities for this position include the following:
Demonstrate the behaviors and actions to support Lake Country Co-operatives vision, mission, values, and safety principles to make a difference in members lives, with a strong customer focused approach.
Provide Legendary Service at all touch points through various communication channels.
Serve guests, pack groceries, stock, and face shelves.
Ensure to keep a clean and well-maintained department; clean up breakage and spills, clean shelves, bins and displays as needed, and keep aisles free of debris.
Adhere to company policies, procedure, and standards ins social responsibility and the selling of age restricted items relating to wine, spirits and beer.
Monitor code dates to always ensure the freshest inventory on the shelf; follow FIFO.
Support and follow Asset Protection and Safety Management systems, policies, and procedures.
Perform all other duties as assigned.

You are familiar with Food Safe procedures and practices.
You are 19 years of age or older and be willing and able to obtain Serve It Right certification.
You have the ability to fulfill physical job requirements, - standing, kneeling, crouching, and performing heavy lifting regularly.
You have the ability to work in a fast paced, guest facing environment.
You have a flexible work schedule including weekends, evenings, and holidays.
