Description

The SPSA is seeking an organized, results-oriented, and team player for one (1) permanent full time position as Operations Coordinator for Air Operations in La Ronge, SK. The position reporting to the Business Manager will be responsible for:

- Bi-weekly auditing and submission of employee timecards to Managers;
- Seasonal employee recall packages/layoff notices;
- Employee file management and confidential document submission to Human Resources Service Centre;
- General administrative duties;
- Receptionist duties;
- Accounts payable invoice submission;
- Contract file creation, support and database management; and
- Training record creation, development and support to Management;
- Flight Following/Dispatching for aerial fire fighting fleet;
- Supporting Business Manger with staffing competitions; and
- BMO Government credit card user.

The successful candidate must have knowledge of and/or possess the following:

- Office and workflow management in order to develop and implement systems to ensure deadlines are met;
- Office and administrative procedures, protocols and equipment usage;
- Office filing procedures and systems;
- Government of Saskatchewan Policy and Procedures;
- PSC Client;
- TALEO;
- MIDAS/Markview;
- Restricted Radio Operator's Certificate; and
- Microsoft Office Suite of programs (Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Outlook).


The successful candidate will ideally have formal education in business/office administration, along with experience in aviation or similar work experience and must clearly indicate in their cover letter or resume where they have acquired their knowledge, experience, skills and abilities.  The successful candidate must pass a Criminal Record Check.
